  Is there a way to do a transfer directly to someone's voicemail box instead of to their extension?  

  Yes.  To transfer directly, press transfer, dial 799,  dial *, dial the ext. number, and transfer to complete the sequence.  To make things faster you can use a speed dial key for the 799.  Then it would be: To transfer directly, press transfer, dial speed dial key,  dial *, dial the ext. number, and transfer to complete the sequence.
